Our cozy Queen Acres, a delightful 1960’s home in North Austin, has been a labor of love since we bought it in 2017. From moving walls to countless landscaping projects, our house has turned into a peaceful hideaway under the watchful eye of an ancient 500-year-old live oak tree.
5’s across the board
I can’t say enough good things about Rodney and Jake and their place! They are so kind and welcoming, their house is a work of art, and their pets are so friendly and cuddly – a definite plus for me. The location is great for getting anywhere you need to go, yet I felt like I was in another secluded world hanging out in their private and fun backyard. 10/10 would recommend it and will stay again!
5 stars aren’t enough to explain just how great my stay with Rodney, Jake and their fur babies was. The property itself is a work of art, everywhere you look is truly special and you can feel all of the love and design that has gone into creating such a relaxing and unique space. The highlight though was the great company, and I don’t just mean the doggos! Rodney and Jake are the perfect hosts and having their company, even just for a couple of nights, was the cherry on the cake of the visit. They really do set the bar for rentals, and I can’t wait to come back soon. Ps not even the unseasonably rainy weather could dampen the experience of the outdoor shower – make sure you make the most of it!
I was super impressed with Rodney and Jake’s oasis, was like living in an art exhibit as soon as you step inside the gold accented gate! My spacious room and bathroom were super clean as was the rest of the home, comfy bed for a nap and sleep after a long night out. Mornings were greeted by their lovely fur babies. Remy loves belly rubs 🙂 The guys greeted me on arrival, they were very nice and friendly. Location was great, close to freeways, shopping, and food. Would’ve loved to stay longer!
